| This energy efficient passive solar design offers an open plan wrapping around a south facing courtyard and garden. The raised ridge roof lantern offers natural light and ventilation and unifies the living room, dining room and family room with a central kitchen. A concrete block wall solar hallway forms a central solar collecting spine focusing on the south garden courtyard. Window and door openings capture the multiple axial views of the adjacent orange orchard in which the residence is situated.
