ARCH 251 [ARCH
251 and first half of ARCH 252]: Eighteen week design studio focusing
on basic design principles, theories, methods and means of creative
problem-solving, two- and three-dimensional visual organizations to
communicate concepts and meanings, basic verbal and visual communication
skills, with emphasis on the creation and interrelationship of architectural
form, function and light.
ARCH 252 [second
half of ARCH 252 and ARCH 253]: Eighteen week design studio and a
continuation of theories, principles, methods and means of creative
problem solving, two- and three-dimensional visual organizations to
communicate concepts and meanings, basic verbal and visual communication
skills, analysis of the built environment with emphasis on the creation
and interrelationship of architectural form, function, structure,
site and cultural contexts. |
